Navigating
Times of Transition

"It isn’t the changes that will do you in, it’s the transitions. They aren’t the same thing.
Change is situational … transition, on the other hand, is psychological."
William Bridges
Managing Transitions: Making the Most of Change

Change is a natural part of life, if we’re growing we’re changing. Many of us would say we struggle with change, but as the quote above states, it’s not change that we struggle with it’s transition. Transition is a psychological process which involves endings, a neutral zone, followed by new beginnings. Moving through these phases takes courage and time but genuine transformation and growth will only come about if we invest in this process of transition.

As well as my C-Me work, I love to work with organisations, teams and individuals who are navigating times of transition.

I facilitate Away Days for Teams and I offer 1-2-1 coaching for individuals. If you’d like to know more about how I can help you or your team navigate times of transition, you can contact me at cme@katherinegantlett.org.uk

Katherine recently facilitated a team day away in preparation for a significant change in our college. This was a potentially risky thing to do, but the way she led the day created an environment of trust in a workplace setting in which people could be honest. I was impressed, and felt the day had gone as well as it could have. We look forward to continuing to work with Katherine.
